Complaints

We know the vast majority of our students and parents/carers are happy with what we do here at the academy. Sometimes, though, things do go wrong, and we want to make sure that we deal with any complaints or concerns swiftly and sensibly.

We are passionate about working with parents/carers and value your feedback. Our experience has demonstrated that issues are best dealt with face to face and as early as possible. We encourage you therefore to contact the academy should you wish to discuss concerns. There are hierarchical structures within the academy which are designed to allow you to escalate any concerns you feel haven't been addressed sufficiently. Academy leaders are keen to resolve any issues you feel haven't been resolved by other academy staff. Please use our staffing section to identify the appropriate key person to address your concerns and email the academy office with a request for that staff member to contact you.

We strive to work in partnership with students' best interests at heart, and we want to work with you, in strong partnership, to achieve this.

This policy indicates clearly the steps you should take if you have any concerns. It follows national guidelines and will ensure that your complaint is taken seriously.
