The Brunts Academy is committed to providing an appropriate and high quality education to all students. We believe that all students, including those identified as having special educational needs, are entitled to good quality learning and teaching and a broad and balanced curriculum, which is accessible to them.
The Brunts Academy is fully committed to inclusion. We constantly seek to improve and develop cultures, policies and practices that include all learners and we aim to foster a sense of community and belonging to all.

Nottinghamshire’s SEND local offer
Nottinghamshire’s SEND local offer has been created so that lots of useful information is available all in one website.
It can help you find services available across Nottinghamshire for Children and Young people with SEND and their families in a number of areas:
- Education
- Health
- Social Care
- Voluntary and private sector
The SEND local offer has information, advice and guidance on topics such as:
- Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Health
- Social Care
- Voluntary and private sector
It also includes a Young People’s Zone designed for anyone under the age of 25.
Minds of All Kinds
The Minds of All Kinds website is a new website that has been launched by the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Integrated Care Bard (ICB). It has been created to provide tailored support and resources for all ages who are/or may be neurodivergent, autistic or ADHD.
The website has been created to:
- Provide reliable sources of neurodevelopmental information and advice and guidance, with a particular focus on Autism and ADHD, for all ages across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire
- Help people navigate their options to find the right support and information
- Help people understand the support that is available to them by signposting to local and national organisations
