Pupils and staff at The Bramble Academy and The Brunts Academy are celebrating today as they officially join the successful Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT).
Both academies are located in Mansfield and staff are looking forward to working with leaders from the Trust and colleagues from the other GAT academies to share best practice and implement new initiatives to secure school improvements.
Today marks the formalisation of this partnership as both academies join the Trust. GAT is now comprised of 38 academies, including infant, primary, secondary and special schools, located across Nottinghamshire, Leicester, Northamptonshire, Peterborough and Lincolnshire.
The Trust is known regionally and nationally for its fantastic work educating pupils and its passion for championing inclusivity, celebrating diversity, delivering high-quality education and raising the aspirations of young people in the communities it serves.
The vision and values of The Bramble Academy and The Brunts Academy align with GAT, making joining the Trust a natural progression for both academies. Both Bramble and Brunts academies will now form an integral part of the GAT community and be central to its Nottinghamshire hub.
Together, the academies will continue to work with Trust senior leaders and colleagues across the network of academies to share knowledge, resources and best practice and continue to enhance provisions for pupils to ensure they receive the best possible education. Joining the Trust will also benefit staff as they can access further continued professional development opportunities and its new training institute to support them as they progress in their careers.
